Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD), 78-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Potomac upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD) to play the Clippers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Oxon Hill lost 87-72 in their recent league bout against Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD)

Next up, the Lions confront the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Largo will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
