December 20, 2017: Birmingham, AL 35219 The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), 63-40 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Pickens was trounced by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 76-62, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Bibb County for a non-league test on Thursday, December 21. Pickens County will encounter a Choctaws squad coming off a 52-31 non-league loss to American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Choctaws record now stands at 5-7.
