Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 55-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Robinson upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to play the Wonders in a 4A Meck bout on Friday, January 30. The Wonders go into the bout with a record of 11-5. A.L. Brown won 73-26 in their recent non-league bout against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Huskies play the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Meck bout, on Friday, January 30. Hough will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 36-32 league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
