December 7, 2010: Klamath Falls, OR 97603 The Henley Hornets basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting La Pine Hawks to 60 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crook County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Henley will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 63-44 non-league win over Madras (Madras, OR). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-1.
The Hawks (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gilchrist (Gilchrist, OR). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Gilchrist beat La Pine (La Pine, OR), 32-23, in a non-league contest.
