Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston fells Maine East
November 29, 2011: Evanston, IL 60201 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), saw Evanston's basketball squad overcome Maine East by a score of 77-65.
With the victory, Evanston improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Wildkits host Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to play the Hawks in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Maine South won 43-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
Next up, the Blue Demons play the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) in a Central Suburban - North challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Maine East will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
