Montana High School Basketball - Powell County overwhelms Columbus
December 8, 2017: Deer Lodge, MT 59722 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT) and the visiting Columbus Cougars (Columbus, MT), saw Powell County's basketball squad wallop Columbus by a tally of 59-38.
With the victory, Powell County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wardens travel to Broadwater (Townsend, MT) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Broadwater lost 66-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Manhattan Christian (Manhattan, MT)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Manhattan Tigers (Manhattan, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 64-37 non-league win over Conrad (Conrad, MT).
