The Bishop Sullivan Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Norfolk Christian Ambassadors to 42 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norfolk Academy for a Tidewater Independent Schools contest on Friday, February 12. Bishop Sullivan Catholic will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-28 league win over Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-8.
The Ambassadors (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Portsmouth Christian was routed by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 63-59, in a non-league contest.
