California High School Basketball - King holds off Los Altos
January 31, 2015: Hacienda Heights, CA 91745 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the King Wolves (Riverside, CA) and the host Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA), saw King's basketball squad hold off Los Altos by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, King improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to confront the Sharks in a Big VIII challenge on Tuesday, February 3. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. Santiago won 61-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Colony (Ontario, CA)
Next up, the Conquerors confront the Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) in a Hacienda challenge, on Wednesday, February 4. Los Altos will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 71-43 league loss to Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA).
