California High School Basketball - Holy Names overwhelmed by California School for the Deaf
February 7, 2018: Fremont, CA 94538 The Holy Names Monarchs basketball team (Oakland, CA), was overwhelmed 68-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the host California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA)
The Eagles now possess a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland Military Institute for a Bay Counties - General battle on Thursday, February 8. California School for the Deaf will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 71-27 league win over California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-15.
The Monarchs (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA). The Warriors come into the Bay Counties - General battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Fremont Christian trounced Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 59-42, in a league battle.
