Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 46-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cumberland upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions clash with the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 19. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 76-43 league win over Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI).
