January 28, 2018: Providence, RI 02908 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) and the host La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI), saw Braintree's basketball squad overcome La Salle Academy by a tally of 49-40.
With the victory, Braintree improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Wamps host Brookline (Brookline, MA) to play the Warriors in a Bay State - Carey challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Brookline lost 48-27 in their recent league challenge against Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA)
Next up, the Rams play the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. La Salle Academy will attempt to improve on its 20-2 season record. The Avengers come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 54-32 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
