Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cy-Ridge Rams (Houston, TX), 89-75 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cypress Lakes upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Saturday, November 17. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Cy-Fair won 60-40 in their recent non-league bout against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Kingwood Park Panthers (Kingwood, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 17. Cy-Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX).
