Maryland High School Basketball - Northwest overwhelms Montgomery
February 7, 2011: Germantown, MD 20874 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) and the visiting Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD), saw Northwest's basketball squad trounce Montgomery by a score of 54-32.
With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Sherwood won 50-36 in their recent league challenge against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Rockets battle the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 70-53 league win over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD).
