Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 63-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Connally upgrades its record to 21-12 on the season. The Cadets travel to La Vega (Waco, TX) to play the Pirates in a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 14-14. La Vega won 58-54 in their recent league bout against Robinson (Robinson, TX)
