October 13, 2006: East Providence, RI 02914 In Friday's non-league contest, the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) football team topped the visiting Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI), by a tally of 48-20.
Next up, the Townies face the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division I contest, on Saturday, October 21. East Providence will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Skippers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 27-22 league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Warwick for a Division II-A game on Saturday, October 21. Tolman will meet a Wizards team coming off a 12-0 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 3-2.
