Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Easton Rovers (Easton, PA), 41-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 16-11 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 9-16. Carlynton lost 70-60 in their recent league bout against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Rovers play the Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) in a Lehigh Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 5. Easton will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 57-40 league loss to Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA).
