September 30, 2011: Lincoln, MI 48742 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hillman Tigers football squad scored a close 6-0 victory over the Alcona Tigers.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Atlanta Huskies (Atlanta, MI) in a North Star bout, on Friday, October 7. Hillman will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 44-14 league loss to Arenac Eastern (Twining, MI).
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI). The Cardinals enter the Huron Shores bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Whittemore-Prescott nudged Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
