Coaches Summary

First Quarter

We got off to a slow start, but our defense was terrific from start to finish. Read on in ending summary.

Third Quarter

Late in the third quarter, the kids really turned up the defense. We held Palmer Ridge scoreless for over an 8 minutes period. It was 2:00 minutes and something in the 4th before they scored again. After a Palmer Ridge time-0ut, I asked the kids to turn up the defense and did they ever.
We are slowly getting to where we want to be. The team had trouble understanding what I wanted done in the first half, but we got it fixed at half-time.
Great effort by the kids. Also my coaches are doing a terrific job of coaching during the practices. You are only as good as your assistant coaches and the kids you coach.
