Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 67-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount St. Joseph upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Gaels host McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to play the Eagles in a MIAA A bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the play the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 71-44 non-league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
