West Virginia High School Basketball - Poca can't hold off Chapmanville Regional
January 28, 2017: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Chapmanville Regional Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Poca Dots to 56 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoover for a Cardinal contest on Tuesday, January 31. Chapmanville Regional will battle a Huskies team coming off a 71-34 league loss to Poca (Poca, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 7-8.
The Dots (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Independence edged Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV), 59-37, in a non-league contest.
