Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX), 85-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Argyle upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Eagles host Prosper (Prosper, TX) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Prosper won 57-53 in their recent league bout against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 3. Celina will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record.
