January 15, 2011: Breese, IL 62230 The Mater Dei Knights routed the visiting Wesclin Warriors basketball team by a final score of 65-35 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Knights face the Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 27. Mater Dei will attempt to move on its 18-1 season record. The Terriers enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 54-50 league loss to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL).
With the defeat, Wesclin moves to 11-8 on the year. The Warriors host Freeburg (Freeburg, IL) to face the Midgets in a Cahokia - Mississippi game on Monday, January 24.
