The Sharpsville Blue Devils football squad scored 33 points and restricted the host Mercer Mustangs to 0 in the Blue Devils league victory on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington Area for a District 10 Region 2 battle on Friday, September 16. Sharpsville will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 45-6 league win over Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 battle, on Friday, September 16. Mercer will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
