The Bakersfield Drillers topped the host Ridgeview Wolf Pack football team by a final score of 28-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Drillers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Garces (Bakersfield, CA). The Rams come into the Southwest Yosemite challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Garces was knocked off by St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Wolf Pack now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden Valley for a South Yosemite challenge on Friday, October 10. Ridgeview will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-20 non-league win over Foothill (Bakersfield, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
