September 18, 2010: Walker, LA 70785 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) and the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), saw Walker's volleyball squad beat Port Allen by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Walker upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, September 20. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Albany lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA)
The Pelicans now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Scotlandville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 22. Port Allen will play a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. James (St. James, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.
