Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK), 74-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wasilla upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Warriors host West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 10-8. West Valley lost 62-31 in their recent non-league bout against Colony (Palmer, AK)

Next up, the Malemutes play the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Lathrop will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 72-41 league loss to Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK).
