The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 73-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Nighthawks (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers go into the 3A Mid-State test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Morehead was trounced by Reidsville (Reidsville, NC), 77-29, in a non-league test.

The Whirlies now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Tabor for a non-league test on Friday, December 14. Grimsley will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 56-12 non-league win over Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
