Indiana High School Basketball - Mishawaka holds off Michigan City
January 2, 2016: Mishawaka, IN 46544 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), saw Mishawaka's basketball squad hold off Michigan City by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Mishawaka improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Elkhart Central (Elkhart, IN) to confront the Blue Blazers in a Northern Indiana challenge on Monday, January 4. The Blue Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Elkhart Central lost 72-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) in a Duneland challenge, on Friday, January 8. Michigan City will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 75-63 non-league win over Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN).
