January 2, 2018: Spartanburg, SC 29307

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), by a margin of 67-39.

The Centurions (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Rebels go into the AAA Region III outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Mid-Carolina smashed Columbia (Columbia, SC), 69-67, in a non-league outing.

The Yellowjackets now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a AAAA Region II outing on Friday, January 5. Union County will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
