Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy prevails McDonough
February 19, 2010: Baltimore, MD 21202 St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 48-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Frances Academy upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 21. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Archbishop Spalding won 55-48 in their recent league bout against Seton Keough (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Rams play the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 19. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 56-12 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).
