California High School Basketball - Bell overwhelms South East
February 7, 2011: South Gate, CA 90280 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Bell Eagles (Bell, CA) and the host South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), saw Bell's basketball squad trounce South East by a score of 49-27.
With the victory, Bell improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Rough Riders in a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, February 9. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Roosevelt won 52-41 in their recent league contest against Jordan (Los Angeles, CA)
The Jaguars (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Spartans come into the Eastern contest with a 9-19 record. In their last contest, Huntington Park was routed by Garfield (Los Angeles, CA), 56-43, in a league contest.
