Virginia High School Football - Goochland trounces Charlottesville
September 24, 2010: Charlottesville, VA 22901 In Friday's league match, the visiting Goochland Bulldogs football squad scored a big 41-0 victory over the Charlottesville Black Knights.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a AA Jefferson match, on Friday, October 1. Goochland will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 36-23 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
The Black Knights (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons enter the AA Jefferson match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Monroe was crushed by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 50-21, in a league match.
