St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Cadets clash with the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 26. St. John's will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Frogs come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).

With the loss, Bishop Ireton drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Paul VI (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a Washington Catholic match on Saturday, September 27.
