In Thursday's non-league outing, the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), by a margin of 65-28.

The Grizzlies (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 20-1 record. In their last outing, North Marion smashed Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV), 56-36, in a league outing.
