In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Plateau Valley Cowboys basketball team scored a decisive 57-10 triumph over the Nucla Mustangs.

In their next game, the Cowboys face the Ouray Trojans (Ouray, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 2. Plateau Valley will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 7-7 record after their 79-45 league loss to Telluride (Telluride, CO).
