Kentucky High School Basketball - Ballard Memorial holds off Lake County
December 20, 2010: Barlow, KY 42024 Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN), 69-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ballard Memorial upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bombers travel to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Dyersburg won 69-37 in their recent non-league bout against Heath (West Paducah, KY)
Next up, the Falcons play the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 22. Lake County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Marshals go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 58-57 non-league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY).
