The Broncos now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clayton Valley for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. Northgate will face a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.

Game Summary
Northgate HS scored a hard fought 5-0 victory against the visiting Falcons. Locked in a scoreless pitcher's duel, Pelletier unloaded a long home run to send Northgate into the lead. Sandberg pitched 5 shutout innings for the Broncos. Scott Hroza and Kelly Martz had 2 hits each for the Falcons who had a 3 game wnning streak stopped and fell to 6-2 for the season. Tommy Acton pitched 5 strong innings allowing only 1 earned run while giving up 4 hits while striking out 6.
