March 20, 2014: Houston, TX 77057 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Second Baptist Fighting Eagles (Houston, TX) and the visiting Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), saw Second Baptist's baseball squad knock off Ponte Vedra by a count of 6-0.
Coming up next, the Fighting Eagles play the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles (Sugar Land, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 4 battle, on Monday, March 24. Second Baptist will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-6 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX).
The Sharks now possess a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Palatka for a 5A District 4 battle on Wednesday, March 26. Ponte Vedra will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
