North Carolina High School Basketball - Southside crushes Manteo

Southside (Chocowinity, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), 55-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Southside upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Redskins encounter the South Creek (Robersonville, NC) in a 1A Four Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Manteo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
