Coming up next, the Gryphons play the Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL) in a 5A District 9 contest, on Friday, April 8. Sickles will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Cowboys enter the contest with a 10-5 record after their 7-1 league win over Chamberlain (Tampa, FL).

Game Summary
Mick Kuhn pitched a complete game three hitter to lead the Sickles Gryphons over Hillsborough. The middle of the Sickles order really produced with Alex DeGracia, Brandon Goede and Jack Machonis all hitting doubles and accounting for the three runs they needed to win the game. Machonis was a rock on defense with two double plays and cutting down a potential tying run in the bottom of the seventh when Hillsborough threatened with bases loaded. Jaylin Jackson homered for Hillsborough and scored both of their runs.
