Game Summary
Given that it was a 9:00 a.m. game and we were on a bus at 6 a.m. to make the trip it should come as a surprise we opened up a little flat and let Wichita South dictate to much of the play in the first half. We sat back and allowed players to turn and attack, and didn't push in attack when we had opportunity. The talk at half was all about effort and urgency. Timing and shape in both offense and defense. A little more discipline on defense in the 2nd half created far more difficulty for Wichita south to attack us at will like the 1st half. Then, offensively, we shaped a little better, had a little more ball movement and urgency when we attacked them. Very good finishing by all of the offense, David G was high quality this day, and the game turned in our favor. We need more focus and dedication to consistancy off set pieces, and more of an attack the ball mentality. All things that are fixable at this point in the season.
