October 26, 2009: Wilmington, DE 19803 The Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) volleyball overcame the visiting Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Wilmington Friends upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Quakers host Tatnall (Wilmington, DE) to face the Hornets in a Independent Schools outing on Friday, October 30. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 10-7. Tatnall lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE)
The Raiders now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dickinson for a Blue Hen Flight - B outing on Wednesday, October 28. Concord will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league win over McKean (Wilmington, DE). The Rams record now stands at 4-10.
