September 11, 2009: Russellville, KY 42276 The Marshall County Marshals football team (Benton, KY), was beaten 26-15 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY)
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders come into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hart County achieved victory over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Marshals now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muhlenberg County for a 6A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 18. Marshall County will meet a team coming off a 20-13 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The record now stands at 0-4.
