Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) and the visiting Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS), saw Ocean Springs's basketball squad hold off Oxford by a score of 53-48.

With the victory, Ocean Springs improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to New Site (Booneville, MS) to battle the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 22. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. New Site lost 66-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS)

Next up, the Chargers battle the Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 28. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Coldwater (Coldwater, MS).
