North Carolina High School Football - Hickory Ridge drops to Central Cabarrus

August 24, 2018: Harrisburg, NC 28075

In Friday's non-league game, the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) football team knocked off the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), by a score of 21-7.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Mount Pleasant was dropped by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 35-12, in a non-league game.

The Ragin' Bulls now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay M. Robinson for a non-league game on Friday, August 31. Hickory Ridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-19 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
