Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 67-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Polar Bears host Lake (Uniontown, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a Federal challenge on Friday, January 23. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 17. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
