Georgia High School Basketball - Woodville-Tompkins can't hold off Lanier County
December 18, 2017: Savannah, GA 31408 The Lanier County Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines to 55 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irwin County for a A Region 2 contest on Friday, December 22. Lanier County will battle a Indians team coming off a 67-53 non-league loss to Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
The Wolverines (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers come into the A Region 3 - East contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, McIntosh County Academy was nudged by Calvary Day (Savannah, GA), 60-53, in a league contest.
