Utah High School Basketball - American Fork fells Alta
February 11, 2011: Sandy, UT 84094 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) and the host Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT), saw American Fork's basketball squad overcome Alta by a count of 60-49.
With the victory, American Fork upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to play the Vikings in a 5A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Pleasant Grove lost 63-31 in their recent league challenge against Lone Peak (Highland, UT)
Next up, the Hawks play the Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT) in a 5A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Alta will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 83-49 league loss to Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT).
