The Porter Ridge Pirates ran past the visiting Parkwood Rebels basketball team by a final score of 67-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a 4A/3A Southern Carolina game, on Tuesday, January 22. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 9-7 record after their 79-69 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
