Alabama High School Basketball - Minor ripped by Bob Jones
December 22, 2011: Madison, AL 35758 The Bob Jones Patriots basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Minor Tigers to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Bob Jones will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 69-52 non-league loss to Lee (Huntsville, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Venice (Venice, FL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Venice was ripped by Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL), 83-67, in a non-league match.
